What Client’s Say
A 3 year old boy tried to pick up a toy behind the central heater and got burned. The wound was first treated with a hydrogel, which stuck to the wound due to a lack of wound fluids (exudate). A white crust formed which was difficult to remove and made dressing changes very painfull. The wound expert decided to change treatment and started to use L-Mesitran Tulle. The wound healed within 10 days, during which only 10 pieces of L-Mesitran Tulle were used.
A 77 year old man had an accident causing a leg wound (trauma). Before treatment started, the wound was a few days old. The patiënt used different kinds of medication, which can influence wound healing. The nurse decided to start treatment with L-Mesitran Tulle. In combination with cleaning the wound with a saline solution and L-Mesitran Tulle, the wound healed almost completely within 18 days.
A 43 year old male diabetic suffered from a lower leg ulcer. Despite treatments with various natural ointments which were prescribed by his natural healer, the wound was already present for 3-4 months. The wound was covered with necrotic tissue and showed signs of infection. The nurse decided to use L-Mesitran Tulle, a honey based dressing, because of its proven antimicrobial activity and its capability to debride wounds quickly.
